Enjoyed a lovely happy hour here on a Saturday evening after the midsummer Halloween convention. The flatbreads were all $10 and we had the short rib which was good. The appetizers were half price, great deal. The brussel sprouts were very unique compared to anywhere else I've tried. The ahi tuna tostadas were also very good, would order again. Drinks were strong and good👍 surprisingly not too crowded which was nice too. We got to see people walking from the convention center in their costumes which was fun. Nice staff!

We went in on Valentines hoping to get in even though the sign said reservation only, and the manager was so incredibly accommodating! The waitress, I believe her name was Katarina, was so nice and knowledgeable about the menu. She got us with just the right foods to make our nice that much more special. I would definitely come back again. Also the atmosphere is really good as well with the outside seating.

New American spot in Long Beach. For takeout for dinner on a Friday evening with three other friends and split a few dishes. We had the brussel sprouts with bacon on the side per our request, fries, shrimp tacos (3 to an order), mushroom flatbread, and a salad. Portions were on the smaller side so finished all of the food. The flatbread was good to share and the fries were thin cut. The shrimp tacos came with blue corn tortillas; we got that since they were out of the short rib tacos that night. They had live music playing which was cool. There’s underground garage parking.

This was our 1st time at Risu, and we'll definitely be back. Great food, service, and atmosphere. We were there for happy hour, which made it even better. All the goodness at 1/2 the price. We had the spicy tuna tostadas, spicy shrimp tacos, and Brussel sprouts. We had room for one more thing and ordered the short ribs tacos. The only thing they could've done to improve was have a bit spicier salsa, but other than that, the food was perfection. We'll definitely be back! I had the Mexican Candy cocktail, and it was the perfect light, refreshing, tequila based summer cocktail.

Simply searched rooftop bar and this comes up. A really fun architectural light string tunnel between here and the convention center, as an elevated walkway. The outdoor chairs were surprisingly comfy, to the traveler who just sat in a plane six hours from the East Coast & needed to snag dinner before kitchens closed. Late night happy hour discounts on entrées and cocktails and wine – – the prices are shockingly reasonable for downtown Long Beach, not a block from the water. I got the short rib taco app and Bougie Brussels app to go, so I could have them for breakfast since nothings open when I hit my job site. Snitched some take-out Brussels— dang… really live up to their advertising! Likely the best Brussels preparation I’ve ever had in my life. Enjoyed the bacon lovers salad w shrimp for actual dinner… O M W sooooo good, even better than the description. I debated ordering another one, but the kitchen was closed by then. Not overly bacon, not overly vinaigrette… Just a gorgeous combination of creamy, savory, on lots of greens, because I sure need greens after a weekend of bad decisions in Atlantic City. I consider this an excellent salad design, and will try to re-create it at home. This is a really nice little ambience, at a shockingly good value/price point. I’m pretty sure I will be back tomorrow night for dinner again.
